Metrology Lab
The metrology labs are designed and built to enhance measurement accuracy and reduce measurement uncertainty due to temperature and humidity fluctuations. Our labs is operating at 20°C±2% with a relative humidity of 50%±2%. Aside from ambient control, human error also an important factor for us to define the inspection protocol for each item. In order to enhance measurement accuracy and consistency, mostly all the measurement method are programmed and checked automatically by Co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM) or Vision Measuring Machine (VMM).
Data retrieval and objectively presenting the data for Engineering evaluation is indispensable to our customers or production for making critical decisions on a process or its validation. Measurement analysis such as SPC / Cpk can be provided on small or large runs if there are needs arise.
Regularly third-party equipment calibration is compulsory to ensure our equipment in top notch condition. Every single mistake on dimension measurement, is a huge risk to our valuable customer. Therefore, beside third-party calibration, daily in-house verification of our equipment is required as well. Gage repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R) evaluation to our equipment will be carried out as well to enhance the accuracy of our measurement.
