Roles and Responsibilities
- Reviews 3D CAD design blueprints.
- Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and general understanding of tolerance and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- To perform job setting in CNC machines
- Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
- Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.
- Assist in manufacturing & process engineering to develop new Customer Products but also for R&D, continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
- Able to meeting with customer to discuss project progress.
- Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening
